Dubai CommerCity Free Zone offers over 1500 business activities.
Types of Licenses:
Based on the activity you required , you can select your License type .
- Trade License
In this License type, You can make trading activities that are mentioned in your license like do import, export, re-export, distribution and storage of goods / activities specified in the license.
- Service License
Service License is suitable for service-oriented businesses like consulting, marketing, training, education, IT, and more. It allows the holder to provide services specified in their license.
- Industrial License
Industrial license permits for light manufacturing, assembly and packaging of goods specified in the license.
- E-Commerce License
This is a trade or service license combined with e-commerce activity allowing the holder to trade goods and services through online. This is not a virtual license but similar to a trade or a service license also facilitating online trade of goods or services.
- General Trading License
This license allows the holder to trade in general activities, including import, export, re-export, storage and distribution.
- Dual License with DED
This license allows the company registered in DCC to apply for a DED (Dubai Department of Economic Development) License without the need for physical office space on the mainland.

How can you apply for an E-commerce License ?
You can get the e-commerce license through a few simple steps from Dubai CommerCity:
- Choose the company type
- Find an attractive name for your company (trade name) and get approval for it
- Submit these documents:
– A copy of investor’s passport
– No Objection Certificate (if under sponsorship)
– A copy of UAE residence visa (if available)
– Investor profile
– Any other requested documents.
- Prepare the draft for Memorandum of Association and the share certificate
- Pay Dubai CommerCity license’s cost and finally you can obtain the license from the authority
